Welcome to B. Strong Nutrition

I'm so excited you're here!

I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer in the Twin Cities area seeking to educate others about all things nutrition. In the past I've worked in gyms and outpatient settings, helping everyone from young teens to older adults improve issues related to disordered eating, chronic disease, gut health, and more.

I strongly believe nutrition is closely tied to both physical and mental health. American lifestyles are fast-paced, high-stress, and constantly overloaded with conflicting health-related information. Busy lifestyles and misinformation can make it difficult to figure out proper health practices that suit your lifestyle. My goal is to help you navigate the nutrition world with confidence so you can feel and "B. Strong" again physically and mentally.

I attended the College of St. Benedict for my undergraduate degree, and the University of Wisconsin Stout for my Master's. I absolutely love traveling and being outdoors (especially during lake season!), and most of my free time is spent with friends and family.

More Testimonials

"You saved my life lady."

I started working with Brittney in July 2022, after already "failing" with another local dietitian/nutritionist. I came to Brittney with reservations because everything else I tried didn't work. I tried Weight Watchers in the past and would lose the weight, only to gain it back. When I came to Brittney, I was newly diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder, ashamed, and feeling like I've tried everything to help myself, but decided to put my faith in her and I'm so glad that I did. Brittney helped me relearn the basics of nutrition and intuitive eating. She helped me unlearn the diet mentality of "good food" and "bad food" because food is food. That was the turning point for me! I've spent years counting points or calories, and feeling if I went over them, that I was a "bad person" or had a "bad day" and that day would snowball into a binge. The simple freedom of knowing that food has no moral compass, has made such a difference in my life. If I want a snickers bar, I can have one and not feel guilty. But the funny thing is, knowing I can have one now and nothing is off limits, I rarely have or crave it. Before Brittney, I would have eaten a few snickers and hid the wrappers. That is no longer the case, and it feels incredible. With Brittney's knowledge and tools, she helped me lose 100 pounds and I have kept it off. She keeps me motivated during each of our sessions, and I look forward to telling her about my progress. She has truly been a blessing and has helped me to change my life. I have recommended Brittney to anyone that has asked me how I've lost weight, she is the essential piece, and I could not have done this and maintained without her.
